Malone Appoints D. Nathan Phinney Provost

Dr. D. Nathan Phinney was appointed to the position of Provost by Malone University following a national search. Phinney has served Malone as interim provost since July of 2015 and previously as dean of the College of Theology, Arts and Sciences (CTAS). He joined Malone’s biblical studies faculty in 2004. Phinney earned the Ph.D. from Yale University where he also completed master’s degrees in Old Testament and Religion. He completed his B.A. at Taylor University. Phinney and his wife Janelle have three children, a son, James, and twin daughters, Claire and Victoria.
